May 11th the New Generation Big Band will be performing at the MeerJazz Festival in Hoofddorp. Featured artist will be Bob Mintzer. I think there is no need of explaining who he is.. Show starts at 18.00h

Greg & Ellister... ready to go on tour
Last weeks concert tour in Dublin was definitely a big success. The Greg Felton trio and me were feeling a nice click and we are actually talking about getting together more often. With originals by Greg and by me and an open view to improvisation we might make more people happy than just the Bleu Note Club audience in Dublin..

Just a short update for now; Next week a full report plus photos..
Yesterday we had the first concert in the
Bleu Note in Dublin with the
Dublin jazz collective. It's funny that the Dublin jazz scene has something specific in their approach. A lot of free impro, very complex arrangements, but great fun! We had been rehearsing all Wednesday evening and I was happy the result was better than I could have hoped for.
Today I am rehearsing with the Greg Felton trio for the gig tomorrow night. This I am really looking forward to! Greg is a great player. Two years ago we had some great concerts together and I feel something is going to happen now again!
