MySpace

I never believed any of the stories about how people became famous through MySpace. And actually I still don't. But I must admit: MySpace put me into contact with the band "Mostar Sevdah Reunion" and singer Ljiljana Buttler.
A few weeks ago I got a mail from their label "Snail Records": They had visited my MySpace and would like me to be a guest player on the next CD. I visited their concert at the Bimhuis and hardly a week later we were in the recording studio together..! The CD is likely to be released somewhere in September.

How serious the look in the eyes of Dim! Yes indeed! He is mixing the new album of Dim Kesber and the Augmenters. The new cd - recorded at Studio LeRoy in Amsterdam - is dedicated to Duke Ellington and will feature - amongst others - Jasper Soffers on piano and Vincent Koning on guitar, As soon as there is more news to be told, I shall get back to you.
